How to Qualify

Sign Up for the Tournament

• Register via CommunityGaming.io.

Main Tournament Event - February 22th, 8 AM UTC

• Check-in: 🕒 7:30 AM UTC – 8 AM UTC (late players replaced by waiting list at 8 AM UTC).
• Tournament Location: Phantom Tournaments Discord (Voice Channel required).

General Rules

• Be in the Tournament Voice Channel before it starts.
• Admins to contact: @mastermonsta, @erikagloom, @torial, @phobos.pho, @illuvination.
• If you reach the Grand Finals, you must screenshare your gameplay for the livestream.
• Breaking rules or missing deadlines may result in disqualification at Admins’ discretion.
• Admins’ decisions are final.

Match Rules

In-Game

• Game-breaking bug within first 3 rounds?
  • Notify an admin with video proof to request a remake (one per player per match).
  • Or ask the other players in your lobby if they are ok with a remake.
• No remakes for disconnects or major bugs after Round 3.
• No collusion allowed.
  ❌ Sharing information, watching others’ screens, or stream-sniping will result in disqualification.

Scoring System

Each match awards points based on placement:

1. 1st Place - 8 Points
2. 2nd Place - 7 Points
3. 3rd Place - 6 Points
4. 4th Place - 5 Points
5. 5th Place - 4 Points
6. 6th Place - 3 Points
7. 7th Place - 2 Points
8. 8th Place - 1 Point

Tiebreakers

• Quarter&Semi Finals: Highest single-round score > Last round score > Lowest HP lost in last round>strongest opponents>coinflip
• Grand Finals: Highest last-round score.

Tournament Structure

Quarterfinals (X Players)

• X Lobbies of 8 players.
• 2 Full Games of Gauntlet, overall top 16 in score move into Semifinals

Semifinals (16 Players)

• 2 Lobbies of 8 players.
• Each lobby plays 1 match.
• Top 4 from each lobby advance to Grand Finals.

Grand Finals (8 Players)

• Checkmate Format:
  • Reach 12 points, then win one more game to claim the championship.
  • If multiple players have Check status, they must win a match to secure Checkmate.
• Final placements (2nd-8th) are determined by total points.

Prize Pool ($1,000 in ILV)

🏆 Prizes are distributed in ILV tokens via Immutable X Layer 2.

2. 🥈 2nd Place - $190 + 1 Month Discord Nitro
3. 🥉 3rd Place - $140 + 1 Month Discord Nitro
4. 4th Place - $90 + 1 Month Discord Nitro

6. 6th Place - $60 + 1 Month Discord Nitro
7. 7th Place - $50 + 1 Month Discord Nitro
8. 8th Place - $30 + 1 Month Discord Nitro
