Tekken 7 General Rules Max. of 64 Players

The event will run on a double elimination format. There will be a registration fee of P 100 per player. All matches will be best of three (first to 2) except for the Winners Finals, Losers Finals and Grand Finals which will be best of five(first to 3). No character lock. Only the player who lost the previous match can change his character. The winner needs to use the same character. Players are not allowed to pause the game during an official match. A player who intentionally pauses the match forfeits the round. Pressing the PS home button in game is a violation and will be judged on how the violation was done. Tournament brackets will be available before the tournament's official start. Each bracket will be created in a fair and unbiased manner by game marshals utilizing challonge.com’s bracketing system.

Regulations

Players who are not in the tournament area at the time of their match may forfeit the match. A five-minute grace period will be given to players who are not present when called. Players are encouraged to use their own controller/fightstick or keyboard. Players are not allowed to register a “gamer tag” with inappropriate/vulgar content. Offence might lead to disqualification. Racist, sexist, or other improper words or conduct are not permitted. At the judgment of the designated marshal, any reports of trash talk or other forms of unsportsmanlike behavior may result in disqualification. The tournament organizers have the right to change or modify the rules as they fit. The organizers’ decision is final and irrevocable.

Note: -Registered teams will be prioritized. -If registered participants reach more than maximum participants on the day of the tournament, first come = first served will be applied upon check-in to secure slots. -NO REFUNDS

Game Settings

Time limit is 60 seconds per round. Stages should be RANDOM for first the match, after that one can choose changing a character, stage or just go for a rematch, only if she/he loses.
