A recent datamine revealed potential additions including a PvE event featuring a Queen of Pain boss, a new hero named Ringmaster, and a plethora of skins and cosmetics. More leaks include Arcanas for Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit, alongside a possible Candy Shop and event-themed cosmetics for the event. For Dota history buffs, a lore-filled novel is also rumored in this release.

FACEIT Unveils New Overwatch 2 Circuit

FACEIT unveiled a new esports ranking system for Overwatch 2 this week, launching daily and weekly tournaments dubbed WASB (We Are So Back) Cup tournaments. The system incorporates FACEIT's Elo ranking system to determine seeding in the Overwatch Championship Series (OWCS) Open Qualifiers. Upon linking their FACEIT and Battle.net accounts, players receive a starting Elo based on their past Overwatch competitive role rank. The top 1,000 players in each region earn the "Challenger Rank," denoting the best Overwatch players.
